For the June 2, 2026 Primary Election, Vote-By-Mail ballots must be returned by 8:00 PM on Election Day if using a secure ballot drop box or delivering in person to the Board of Elections. 

Mailed ballots must be postmarked by 8:00 PM on Election Day and received by the county Board of Elections by June 8, 2026. 

*As the election gets closer, the best best way to return your VBM is at your local secure ballot drop box.

Your ballot is your voice. Return it early, track it, and make sure it counts.

SKIP THE LINES ON ELECTION DAY! 

Registered voters can cast their ballot at any location in the county from May 26 through May 31. 

Early voting hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

No matter where you live in Hunterdon County, you may vote at any of the three early voting centers. Early voting is secure, convenient, and gives voters more flexibility to make their voices heard before Election Day.
