Young Adults

Membership in the Young Adult Hunterdon County Young Democrats group consists of registered Democrats between the ages of 18 - 40.                    

Our platform enables young people  to engage in politics, advocate for Democratic issues and values, and  support our  Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.

1. Inclusivity: We welcome all young individuals who share Democratic values. Diversity is celebrated, and everyone’s voice matters.
    
2. Electoral Engagement: We encourage active  participation in the electoral process.  Activities include voter  registration drives, canvassing, and supporting Democratic candidates.
    
3. Advocacy: We advocate for policies and issues that impact our lives and future, such as the environment,  healthcare and education.
    
4. Networking and Skill Development: We offer  networking opportunities with like-minded peers.  Training is provided  for canvassing, phone banking and texting and candidate support.  We  also offer support to Young Adult candidates running for office in  Hunterdon County. 

The following candidates - under 40 years of age -  are running for local office in the 2024 Election cycle.
